A small family operated East Indian Cuisine restaurant in Barrie serving refreshing and homely food. We requested for spicy food and got precisely that. The food will not appear like another Indian restaurant as the owners strive to offer dishes cooked the way they believe they ought to be cooked. The chicken, goat and paneer dishes ordered by us were well cooked and spiced right for us. The biryani was great as well. The only sore point was - they don't serve water. You have to order bottled water with your meals. The management needs to reconsider this decision as it does not go well with Indian hospitality as such (we even serve water to our enemies)!

I went to this place straight from brampton and I have tried their Masala Amritsari Kulcha, Redi-Wala-Kulcha, Gobi and Aloo Parantha. 1. Kulcha and chhole was good in taste and it was served withchutney and onions in it, I have already tried kulcha in Amritsar, Punjab so my expectations was high because I have tasted a benchmark for me and yes Desi-Licious taste was very yummy here. 2. Redi-vala-kulcha was very balanced in taste and it was served with pyaz tadka style chole and it was really good in taste. 3. Gobbi Parantha was fantabulous in taste. Thnkew so much to the owner for complimentary sweets and your one of the best Masala Chai to us Over all you can try this place. Majhe valleyo must go and try amritsari kulcha, amberser di yaad aaju

A great restaurant for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine. When in doubt, the chef is available to explain the items on the menu and prepare the meal according to your preference. The tea masala (chai) is to die for. Manpreet prepares delicious tea and offer exceptional customer service.

We ordered chicken tikka masala which was of good taste and spices. Chicken biryani was an average. I liked tawa Roti with ghee, felt like proper Indian roti... The masala chai was good choice for drink. However the strawberry shake was disappointment. Overall we had fine lunch out. Roti and chicken curry made the day.

Tried chicken kadhai and chaap tikka masala with lachha pratha…I must admit it was very delicious and I loved it . Lachaaa pratha served with raita .. The chef made it less oily and less spicy as per my need so would recommend food lovers to try this new food joint and enjoy their food

I have few great reasons for giving it a 5 stars. 1) great service especially the owners of the restaurant are so nice. Preeti makes our day whenever we visit. She also takes extra care of each customer. 2) Music. OMG!!! They ask us if the music is fine and plays our favorite music. Mine was already playing old classics 3) Fooooood. Uuuuuh how amazing is the taste. I love authenticity of each dish Last but not least 4) the interior they upgraded... It looks really nice now and the new seating arrangement is really nice, spacious and comfyy.
